Sausage casing tubes
Since 1973, ABI Profils has been designing and manufacturing casing tubes for French and European sausage casings producers.
Our tubes are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) with enhanced glide properties, meeting the specific requirements of the food industry in terms of slip, strength and hygiene.
Our extrusion lines, specially configured for this type of production, ensure consistent, reliable manufacturing adapted to industrial needs.
Applications
ABI Profils casing tubes play a key role in the proper operation of filling and stuffing machines in the food industry:
- Support and guidance of casings: tubes act as stuffing nozzles for natural or artificial casings, with a smooth surface that minimises tearing risks.
- Transfer of filling mixture: enables the smooth flow of the food product into the casing, with resistance to the pressures applied by the machines.
- Uniform sizing: manufactured with precise diameters to ensure consistent filling and stable quality in finished products.

Our casing tubes are manufactured from carefully selected food-grade materials:

Manufacturing Process and Quality
The molten material is homogenised, calibrated and cooled under strict control, ensuring consistent performance from batch to batch.
With 15 single-screw and twin-screw extrusion lines, we adapt our production capacity to your needs — from prototype batches to large series.
Every production run is traceable, inspected and compliant with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
