Materials used

Flexible PVC

Flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC-S) is a thermoplastic polymer modified with plasticisers, giving it high flexibility and excellent mechanical resistance.

It is a versatile material suitable for both industrial applications and outdoor environments.

Key technical properties:

• Flexibility and impact resistance: maintains suppleness even at low temperatures.
• Chemical resistance: withstands many chemical agents, acids, bases and oils.
• Thermal stability: good performance in temperature variations.
• Transparency and colourability: enables bespoke aesthetic finishes.

SEBS (Styrene–Ethylene–Butylene–Styrene)

SEBS is a high-performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPE).

It combines the softness of rubber with the processing ease of plastics, while offering excellent long-term stability.

Key technical properties:

• Durable elastic flexibility: SEBS returns to its original shape after deformation.
• Resistance to UV, ozone and outdoor exposure: ideal for exterior or mobile applications.
• Wide hardness range: from very soft (Shore A 30) to semi-rigid (Shore D 60).
• Comfortable touch: matte or soft-touch finish available.
• Chemical inertness and safety: compatible with food or medical environments depending on formulation.
• 100% recyclable: supports environmentally responsible production.

Manufacturing process and quality

Flexible plastic strips are extruded on our single- and twin-screw extrusion lines, ensuring homogeneous quality, controlled tolerances and high dimensional stability.

Our factory is moving towards an Industry 4.0 production model, integrating automated quality control, full traceability and energy-efficient processes.
