Materials used
Our tubes are extruded from high-performance thermoplastics known for their optical clarity and robustness:
- PVC Crystal: crystal-clear transparency, flexibility, maximum visibility
- PMMA (Plexiglas®): exceptional optical clarity, UV resistance, ideal for outdoor use
- PC (Polycarbonate): high impact resistance, thermal stability
- PETG : excellent transparency, strength, chemical resistance.
Each formulation is selected to ensure optimal light transmission, long service life and dimensional stability under varying environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, sunlight exposure).
Manufacturing process and quality
ABI Profils transparent tubes are produced through high-precision plastic extrusion. This process ensures perfect material homogeneity, a smooth surface and uniform clarity — essential for optical or visual applications.
Our industrial facilities include 15 mono- and twin-screw extrusion lines, allowing us to meet all project requirements, from prototypes and pre-series to full-scale production.
Every batch undergoes continuous inspection and meets ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
We favour eco-responsible production methods, integrating recycled materials when compatible with the required performance.
