Materials used

Our flexible tubes are made from carefully selected technical materials for their mechanical, chemical, and environmental properties, ensuring optimal performance in demanding industrial applications:

  • Flexible PVC: Provides excellent flexibility, enhanced durability, and resistance to weather conditions and chemical agents.
  • SEBS: Offers high elasticity, strong UV resistance, and dimensional stability, making it especially suitable for outdoor environments.

Manufacturing process and Quality

Our flexible tubes are produced via plastic extrusion. This process ensures homogeneous products that meet the strictest quality standards. The material is melted, homogenised, and then pushed through an extruder to shape the tubes.

At ABI Profils, we operate 15 single-screw and twin-screw extrusion lines, enabling us to adapt our production capacity to the specific requirements of your projects.

With more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing flexible tubes, ABI Profils produces technical tubes in different plastic materials according to your needs (ranging from standard to highly technical materials, as well as recycled options). We develop a customised solution in collaboration with your teams, precisely tailored to the relevant requirements.

Production is carried out exclusively with modern technologies that are optimised for plastic processing, while preserving resources and the environment.

Tool design is performed using a 3D and 2D CAD/DAO system in our in-house workshop. To monitor each stage of your development, we operate under the Product Development Sheet (FDP) method. A functional and aesthetic analysis focuses on manufacturing feasibility as well as industrialisation costs. These documents consolidate all the guidelines for your project.
