Materials used

Our transparent tubes are made from high-quality thermoplastic materials, carefully selected for their optical and mechanical properties:

  • PVC Cristal: Known for its crystal-clear transparency and flexibility. Ideal for applications requiring maximum visibility.
  • PMMA (Polymethyl Methacrylate): Provides excellent optical clarity and increased UV resistance, making it well suited to outdoor applications.
  • PC (Polycarbonate): Combines optical clarity with outstanding impact resistance, suitable for demanding industrial applications.
  • PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol): Offers excellent transparency, high impact strength, and good chemical resistance. Ideal for applications requiring both optical clarity and robustness.

These materials ensure optimal performance under demanding conditions, whether in terms of light diffusion, durability, or toughness.

Manufacturing process and Quality

Our diverse transparent tubes are produced by plastic extrusion—a process that guarantees homogeneous products that meet the strictest quality standards. The material is melted, homogenised, and then pushed through an extruder to form the tubes.

At ABI Profils, we have 15 single-screw and twin-screw extrusion lines, enabling us to adapt our production capacity to your project specifications.
